Starting August 1, 2026, the price of Storadera S3 storage will increase to 7.95 EUR per TB per month, up from 7 EUR.
The new pricing will first appear on September 2026 invoices, as customers are billed monthly based on their average storage usage during the previous month.
Why we’re raising prices
Over the past year, the cost of the infrastructure behind Storadera has increased dramatically:
- Enterprise hard drives (22TB+) from Western Digital, Seagate and Toshiba have increased in price by more than 3×.
- Enterprise SSD and memory prices have increased by up to 5×.
- Rental prices for high-capacity storage servers have increased by approximately 2.5×.
Rather than reducing service quality or introducing additional fees, we have chosen a modest price adjustment that allows us to continue investing in reliable infrastructure and support.
Our commitment remains the same
Storadera continues to offer transparent, all-inclusive pricing with:
- No API request fees
- No download fees within our fair usage policy
- No minimum file size billing
- No early deletion fees
We believe this pricing update strikes the right balance between long-term sustainability and continuing to deliver excellent value to our customers.
Storadera is built on our own software stack, allowing us to continuously improve efficiency and absorb as much of the rising hardware costs as possible. Despite significant increases in infrastructure costs, we are passing on only a small part of those increases to our customers.
